Should I be alarmed by the following?
Two health alerts were issued at work this week. On Wednesday, an employee was diagnosed with malaria. On Thursday, another employee was diagnosed with MRSA.
I spotted a dead locust at the southeast entrance.

Starting September
Every now and then, the urge to blog will strike, but my previous blog felt too foreign. Too removed. A fresh start may be what I need to start blogging -- and knitting -- again.
Two years in Pittsburgh, and I am still suffering from something akin to shock -- culture and otherwise. I have yet to find permanent employment; however, I am roughly midway through an eleven-month temporary assignment.
The job itself is so-so, but my co-workers are stellar. One confided to me that she struggles daily to not jump on her desk and scream out to the maze of cubicle drones, "You are all dead inside!"
I hope my contract outlasts her sanity.
